| General Description |
| This program is mainly designed to train people capable of working in the medical diagnostic laboratories. They should be able to apply their expertise to resolve challenges in medical diagnostic laboratory and improving the quality of services by implementing guidelines. The graduates will also act as highly qualified assistant in the research groups. They are also be eligible to enter Ph.D program in clinical Biochemistry. |
| Requirements for the candidates |

You are welcomed to apply for the program if you have have a Bachelor degree in Medical Lab Sciences, Biology or Chemistry with distinctive records and background knowledge in Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Organic Chemistry, and English proficiency. |

| Admitted students are required to pass the following requirement. | |||
| 1 | Prerequisite courses | 11 Credits | If required by the Educational Committee of the Clinical Biochemistry Department, the students will be ask to take a number of course from the following list as prerequisite for the mains courses. |
| 2 | Compulsory courses | 18 Credits | The candidates are required to take all of these subjects. |
| 3 | Elective courses | Minimum of 6 Credits | The candidates are required to take some courses equivalent of 6 credits from the subjects listed in this table. |
| 4 | Research thesis | 8 Credits | |
| Note: Each Unit of course work equals 17 hours of lectures and 34 hours of Laboratory practice work. | |||
